Born and raised in Gaza, Mohammed is a dedicated accountant and was once a Top Rated freelancer on Upwork, providing for his family with pride. But now, everything has collapsed — their home was destroyed, their savings depleted, and the basics of life have become unreachable.
The war began when my daughter Rima was just three months old.
Today, she is two years old, and she has known nothing but war, hunger, and displacement.
She learned to walk in rubble, to cry herself to sleep hungry, and to live without the safety every child deserves.
She recently suffered from severe chest infections, and it was nearly impossible to find proper medication or treatment in Gaza’s collapsed healthcare system.
Our home, once full of life, was turned to rubble.
We used to have stability, meals, hope — today, we have none of that.
We are displaced, living in harsh conditions, and struggling each day just to find clean water and food.
Prices in Gaza have soared beyond belief:
-Flour: $50 per kilo
-Lentils: $30 per kilo
-Canned food: $20 each
-Drinking water: $20 per container
There is no cooking gas, no fuel, and no transportation.
Many days, we go without eating at all. Bread has become a memory.
My daughter cries from hunger. My father, a diabetic, is growing weaker without the food and care he needs.

How You Can Help
Your support can make a critical difference.
Every single donation helps us buy food, water, and hope.
This is not about comfort — it’s about survival.
Please don’t leave us alone.
Thank you for standing with Gaza.
— Mohammed Abusharekh, Gaza
Dear friends,
I wish I had better news, but the situation around us keeps getting worse. The explosions are getting louder and closer every day. People are speaking about a full invasion of Gaza and forced displacement to the south… we live with this fear every single night.
These last days have been extremely hard — no food is reaching us, and survival feels almost impossible. Sadly, support has slowed down a lot recently, but I can’t hide it: I desperately need your help more than ever. Your support is what keeps me and my family alive in these darkest times.
If you are able, please stand with us now. Every contribution, no matter how small, is life-saving. If you cannot give, a share or a kind word means the world.
With love and hope, Mohammed
We’ve just hit our first milestone — 1,000 raised — and it’s all because of your amazing support!
But we’re not stopping here. Mohmmed and his family still need us.
Please continue sharing their story and standing by their side.
Together, I believe we can reach the full goal. Let’s keep the momentum alive!
